Eastern society is as you have probably already noticed very different from the west. This could make bagging your Asian beauty seem a little trickier than you expected until you know a thing or two about their culture.

Asian’s put a high value on education and wisdom so men, start reading. If you know what she is in to go to the library and read about it so that you will have something to talk about. She will be very interested to know about your pursuits and passions so make every effort to firstly, have a passion, and secondly, be prepared to share it with her. She wants to know that with you, she will become a better and well-rounded individual.


Never embarrass her by being loud, rude or a show off. They, like most women enjoy being treated like a lady so, open the door for them, take their coat and pay for dinner. These things can go a long way with this type of woman.


Now assuming that you know what country she is from, do some research! Impress her with your knowledge and interest in what she is about. Find out what foods she eats and if she is westernized learn to cook one of her native dishes. Small gestures like this show that you really care about what she is into and make her feel special.


Whatever you do, do not come across as a player or anyone that is not interested in any sort of a serious relationship. She needs to know that you have the capacity to become serious and committed. They come from a ‘high context culture’ with a long-term orientation. This means that they are thinking about their future when they are picking a partner. Brace yourself; a lot of these women have visions of their ideal future with a half Caucasian child. It is probably not recommended to mention marriage and children on the first date, but hint that you may be interested some day.


Asian women will be impressed if you own the latest high tech gadgets so don’t be ashamed to flash you iPhone, digital SLR or Kindle. Asian men know tonnes about this stuff and believe it or not unlike their western counterpart an Asian woman is usually impressed with your toys. Even show that your knowledgeable about computers. In their society this is valued as computers are associated with success and successful people.


Most importantly, you have to realise that Asian women have strong ties to their family, so the best thing you can do is try and impress this, given the chance. In some cultures the women is expected to support the family even though they are all capable of earning their own money. It is important to encourage this and do not enforce your western values of individualism on her. She will never turn her back on her family.
